Judy Johnson, co-owner of J. Botanica, along with Julia Pendleton were both formally trained at Nashville School of Interior Design, and are know for their award winning designs.  They have over 30 years of combined experience in the design field, and have been featured in Southern Bride Magazine and Southern Living Magazine.  While reflecting on their design skills and professional experience, they are able to create innovative and unique floral arrangements and bouquets, far exceeding expectations.

Dream Wedding 101 Bridal Workshop

Dream Wedding 101  Bridal Workshop Hampton Inn, 210 Richard Mills Drive, Hopkinsville, KY  42240 We at Visions are excited to be hosting our first annual Bridal Workshop.  We have carefully selected one top vendor from each of the major wedding categories to participate in this event.   We will cover budgets, timelines, defining your decor style, the perfect gown for your figure, and the how to of setting up a wedding block for your out of town guests.  You will be given an opportunity to pick the brains of top wedding professionals so bring plenty of questions.    Limited Seating There is a limited number of seats available.  Register early to reserve your space by emailing visions08@twc.com    Tickets are $25 per guest.

2013, a few of our favorite weddings.

2013 has been a great year for Visions we had the pleasure of working with some amazing couples and vendors. 

 Here is one of our favorites Arista and Johnny.  Their wedding was held at James E. Bruce Convention Center, Hopkinsville, Kentucky.  Arista had a clear vision for her wedding, she included so many personal touches that honored her and Johnny's family.  Stay connected for more on Arista and Johnny.

Decor for your wedding

Having a small intimate wedding?  Consider using cube seating instead of chairs.  Using a circular set up allows guests to have a great chance of witnessing the ceremony.

Think of your Guests

If you are planning an outdoor wedding consider the comfort of your guests.  Ladies love wearing heels, but heels are not always compatible with the great outdoors.  Purchase a large basket, fill with different sizes of flip flops and add a note inviting guests to grab a pair.  Your thoughtfulness will be greatly appreciated.

Fight Box

On your wedding day you and your groom are so much in love and it may be hard to imagine that you will ever fight, but you will.  Create a "Fight Box" for the time when you need reminding of the reason you married in the first place.

Before your wedding day, gather a wooden box, a bottle of your favorite wine and two glasses.  Write love notes to each other, explaining your feelings as you prepare to start your new life together as husband and wife.  Seal your letter without letting your soon to be read what you've written.

During your ceremony, place the love notes inside the wooden box with the wine and glasses.  Take turns hammering the box shut, one nail at a time, until the box is sealed.

Agree to keep the box sealed until a special anniversary, like your 10th or 20th, unless you hit a rough patch.  Then break open the box, pour the wine, read the letter, and remember what it's all about.
