Do I need a wedding planner?

A wedding planner is someone who assists, guides and solves with grace, humility and kindness.

Reasons to hire a good wedding planner:

1. A good planner saves you time and money.
2. A planner will know the vendors that can meet your needs and your budget.
3. Working with a planner makes the process smoother.
4. A good planner handles all the details.
5. Handles etiquette issues.
6. Handles your emergencies so that you and your family enjoy your wedding.

If you need more reasons, contact Visions let us show you the benefits of great planning. You wouldn't build a house without a blueprint so don't plan your wedding without a plan.

Clarksville Bridal Showcase

Welcome, thanks to all the lovely brides who visited our booth on Sunday at the Clarksville Bridal Showcase.  I wanted the brides to walk away with cost saving and creative ideas for their wedding.  For those of you that were not able to attend we set up three tablescapes and asked the brides to chose their favorite.  There choices were Summer, Bling and "Twilight" based on the movie.
Centerpiece from the Summer Theme works well for an indoor or outdoor wedding.

The square miniature containers announced the menu to your guest, an easy DIY project.  The containers could also be filled with fresh herbs.  The bride and groom cake topper gives the set up a touch of whimsy.  Instead of table runners we used ribbon, purchasable at any craft store, and a great money saver.

Favor boxes, cake toppers, and invitations are available through Visions.

Check back with us for more details on the tablescapes and to find out which tablescape was the top pick.  If you see something you like or would like information on a project let me know.  I love sharing.

Clarksville Bridal showcase

Searching for ideas, want to know the latest wedding trends, looking for a particular vendor, then you must attend the Clarksville Bridal Showcase, Sunday January 15th at the Red Barn on the APSU campus.  The show begins at 12:00.  You can preregister by visiting  www.clarksvillebride.com.  Don't miss the opportunity to see what's available locally, win prizes, see the latest wedding attire, and meet other brides. While you're there check out Visions; we would love to talk to you.  After the show post your likes or something you learned while attending.  Can't wait to hear from you.

Personalize your wedding

One way to make your wedding unique is to add an ice carving.  There is a new company in Clarksville, Tennessee called Fire & Ice, a catering company with also provides ice carvings.  Ice carvings can be used for decor, to keep foods cold or a great way to serve your signature drink.  Ross Wilson, owner and executive chef , will be showing off his ice carving and food at the Clarksville Bridal Showcase this Sunday.  Check him and and sample his foods.  For additional information check out his web site at www.fireandicetn.com/wp.

The Silver Spoon Cakes and Catering

This is the time of the year I begin searching for new and exciting vendors. I recently interviewed Jennifer Aquino the owner of The Silver Spoon Cakes and Catering company.  She resides in Clarksville, Tennessee.  I also had the opportunity to taste her delicious fare when she catered an event for me.  Her prices are reasonable and my guests raved about her food.

Check out her web site at www.thesilverspooncakesandcatering.com.  Or better yet give her a call at 931 436 3481.  You won't be disappointed.
